Here I sharpen a Fiskars X17 axe with only a file. File sharpening an axe isn't the best way to sharpen an axe and doesn't work on all axes. But if your file can file the steel on the axe it is one way to profile the axe without power tools. Some axes have steel that are too hard to file so other methods are needed. I will show them in different videos.
