Waking Up at 5:30AM... Part 2

Over the past few days, I've been forcing myself to wake up at 5:30 in an attempt to fundamentally change the way I function. I've definitely felt a significant increase in the amount of work I'm able to get done during the day. It does take a lot of self-control to go to sleep on time, especially since I like talking to friends late at night. But in the end, it's all worth it-- I love having the extra 3 hours of "me" time before I officially start my day.

I'm still experimenting and making adjustments to my routine-- and I will continue to do so until I feel like I've fallen into a consistent, doable rhythm. Stuff like how many "cheat" days I'll let myself take, how frequently I should be jogging or working out, etc. I'm not a fitness guru by any means, and I don't really know how much I should be doing, so it may take a while for me to figure out what I'm doing.
