Working on YouTube for three years has been an exhilarating yet exhausting journey. What began as a passion project or a side hustle eventually transformed into a demanding and all-encompassing endeavor. While the platform offers an unparalleled avenue for creativity, expression, and connection with audiences, the constant demand for content creation and the ever-evolving nature of the platform have taken a toll on my energy and well-being.

Managing a YouTube channel can be time-consuming and mentally draining. Tasks such as video editing, responding to comments, optimizing video descriptions add to the workload. The administrative aspects of running a channel can often overshadow the joy of creating content.

I gave myself a goal of doing it for 3 years and then reassessing my stand on it, but now that I am almost at that mark I find myself wondering what the future of my channel will be and what effort I want to spend going forward. Making YouTube does impact my time that can be spent on other things but there is still value to making videos for the sheer creative outlet that I normally do not have. So lets go though some thought I have about quitting YouTube after 3 years.
