The cloud forest of Monteverde are truly a special destination, especially for birdwatchers. And of all reserves in the country, Curi-Cancha might as well be the best. A mix of trails that showcase different habitats, from the dense cloud forest to forest edge and open areas - Curi-Cancha has it all. Be sure to arrive before the reserve opens and spend some time birding in the parking lot, it's already well worth it!
