When we think of the aftermath of Thanos snapping his fingers in Avengers: Infinity War, we think of half of our favourite heroes turning to dust.

The likes of Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Star-Lord and Scarlet Witch all faded into nothingness when the Mad Titan enacted his plan to save the universe's resources - and it was absolutely heartbreaking to witness.

But what we rarely think about is the effect it had on the villainous characters of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Those bad guys who were left alive following their appearances in MCU movies and TV shows would also have potentially been victims of the Decimation - and that's what this video is all about.

So, for the purpose of having a little fun, we're going to look at why we think certain villains did or didn't get decimated by Thanos - and the villains in question are; Abomination from 2008's The Incredible Hulk, Justin Hammer from 2010's Iron Man 2, Red Skull from 2011's Captain America: The First Avenger and 2018's Avengers: Infinity War, Trevor Slattery (The Mandarin) from 2013's Iron Man 3, Georges Batroc from 2014's Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Helmut Zemo from 2016's Captain America: Civil War, Dormammu and Karl Mordo from 2016's Doctor Strange, Ayesha from 2017's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Vulture, Shocker and the Tinkerer from 2017's Spider-Man: Homecoming, Surtur and the Grandmaster from 2017's Thor: Ragnarok, Ghost and Sonny Burch from 2018's Ant-Man and the Wasp, Yon-Rogg from 2019's Captain Marvel, Lorelei and Calvin Zabo from ABC's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Kingpin and Benjamin Poindexter from Netflix's Daredevil, Bushmaster and Diamondback from Netflix's Luke Cage, and Maximus and Flora from ABC's Inhumans.
