When we installed this kit on May 11, 2023 we went without knowing if the Vertical Door kit for the C8 Stingray would fit on the C8 Z06. Throughout the install we felt confident in the entire process because everything did line up and fit as you guys saw in the video when the install was complete. We eventually found that because of the wider wheel in the front on the Z06 it rubs on the Vertical Door hinge itself which led us to find out that although it fits there is a drastic rubbing issue in the front wheel wells. After contacting vertical doors and updating them with this info it eventually led to a new hinge being designed

Yes this was the proto to the hinge and us being the first we did this just to see if it would fit. Now that they've redesigned the hinge we are uploading this video to show that yes there is a significant difference between the two hinges
