In Rachael's chronic illness life, any help is a good thing. On Veteran's Day 2020, we did our annual freebie day and visited several businesses that provided free meals and services to veterans and active-duty military. This year we went to Great Clips, Chili's, Outback Steakhouse, Freddy's, and Golden Corral. The day was only partially successful because we live in Colorado Springs, which had 3 active military installations and many many veterans, which makes everything very crowded. Still, it was a good day. If you are looking for things to do in your area, Google is a great resource. These giveaways happen every Veteran's Day and Memorial Day.
