the second week in Tanzania was a very busy and even more magical one. we traveled from Moshi, to Ngorogoro, and then onto the Serengeti. We spent 3 entire days on the safari, seeing animals and learning so much about the animals, land, culture, and more from our amazing guides. seeing how these animals live in such peace and harmony was truly amazing and so surreal. we spent one night in Ngorogoro and two nights in the Serengeti, falling asleep and waking up to the various sounds of animals surrounding us. on the way back to Moshi, we stopped at Oldupai Gorge, the Maasai Cultural Museum and Women's Co-op, and a snake park. The last two days of this week were spent back in Moshi, doing laundry and preparing for out next adventure.
a very HUGE thank you to Zara Tours for making this trip possible and being the best and most welcoming hosts we could have asked for. if you ever visit Tanzania, do yourself a favor and book with them! you will NOT regret it. they do everything from hotel arrangements and transportation to safaris and climbing Kilimanjaro.
