Please keep in mind these speeds should be used only in special situations and by professionals. With any performance mod you should use common sense with the new found power. It’s not a toy, and it’s a machine.

For those who want to buy the battery seen here.

This is Phase one, If you are following along this is the most basic way to install this, I will be doing a part 2 where we add a display, get the PAS working, and go over tuning. After that we will do part 3 with the lighting.

If you have not already seen the results video, please watch that now.

Review after 100 miles of riding:

The tq from below 5mph is about a 20% increase over stock. Mild not wild, the phase current on this controller is only 99 amps so you do not get the most insane accel down low. Although it is better than stock. After 5mph it’s a decent jump in performance and you can really tell. It’s so much more fun now. The top speed is such a nice touch, on the factory motor when you wish it just had. A touch more speed this delivers and then some. It’s hard to stay off the throttle and not go 45+.
I am still on the hunt for a controller that is small, fits in the stock location and maybe has a touch more phase amps. I think a 40-50 amp controller with 150 phase amps is the absolute ticket here for The stock motor. Looking into some vesc options.

This is Part 1 of the @GrinTechnologies product installs, I will be installing PAS, a Cycle Analyst and other features to it soon.
How ever this is the most basic way to use this system in a bare bones configuration. I use my cell phone connected via the ttl port for data until I goto the next step which I will make videos for as well.

Part 2 will be installing a Cycle Analyst and configuring it for the bike. I have made a few videos about them, how ever since I have a better mic I wish to remake it.    • Tech Tip: The Cycle Analyst is a E-Bi...

You will need the following:
https://ebikes.ca/frankenrunner-l10-m...
3 pin JST throttle long cable to reach from bars to under the seat.
Cable Ties
Clear paint protection film 1-2" wide roll ( amazon has cheap)

If you wish to retain the oem battery you will need to source either an adapter ( L615AM ) which takes the factory plug and goes to a xt60 or cut the wiring. I used a new battery and cradle because I went 72v. If your using a aftermarket battery just wire to controller. Ensure the wiring can handle the amperage you plan on running.

You will need the base map, this link contains the base map https://forms.gle/pYz6pvc1M8cqrm9P8
In order to download the base cal, I made it so you have to enter a password which is contained in the video. I worked hard on setting up the controller and making the video, so please take the time to watch before just taking the base map file. Please do not share the link privately, share the video instead.

Once you have the base map opened, please do not forget to set your voltage up correctly on page 1 and 2.. If not you WILL HAVE FAULTS.

Before you contact me with ANY issues, please ensure you followed all steps. Go back and check, if still an issue please reach out via email in our about section or through comment section.

I have ran 4750W, 70 Battery Amps, and 40A of Field weakening and 5 ms throttle response. Up to you to turn it up if you wish to push your motor.

If you enjoyed, plan on doing this or just appreciated the video. Please take the time to let me know. The extra work to share this work with the community is not easy. It takes hours to edit, and the extra film time. I don't get paid from youtube or anyone for these videos.
