Taisei Kobayashi, MD, LCDR, USNR, is an interventional cardiologist at the
Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Kobayashi focuses on the
emerging technologies in interventional cardiology, taking on especially
challenging cases like complex blockages in the arteries.

"Different equipment needs to be used in creative ways - that's my particular
specialty," says Dr. Kobayashi. "To be able to offer patients a solution and
