Last week was a wild ride for Nikola Motor. The makers of the Nikola Badger announced a partnership with General Motors to manufacture their truck. Nikola's stock moved quickly upwards on news of the deal, but that upward movement wouldn't last long.

Just days later, Hindenburg Research released a scathing report alleging fraudulent activity and deceptive business practices by Nikola Motor and its CEO Trevor Milton. Nikola has had its share of skeptics from the start but the report stoked the fires of skepticism and sent Nikola stock on a downward plunge.
