If you’re looking for a delicious steak recipe for dinner, try this easy Pan-Seared Ribeye Steak Recipe. This Cast Iron Skillet Ribeye Steak is perfectly seasoned, and the butter base makes it extremely flavorful.

Pan Seared Ribeye Steak on a Cast Iron Skillet

1lb Ribeye Steak, Bone In (1 inch thick)
½ tsp johnny’s seasoning salt
½ tsp weber seasoning and rub
½ tsp paprika
2 tbl sp butter (unsalted)
1 clove garlic
1 sprig fresh thyme
1 sprig fresh rosemary
1 tsp olive oil

Directions:

Pat the Ribeye Steak dry.
Season all sides of Ribeye Steak generously.
Over high heat, add olive oil to cast iron skillet.
Sear the fat of the Ribeye Steak.
Sear the 1st flat side of the Ribeye Steak for approximately 3 minutes.
Flip Ribeye Steak over, and sear for another 3 minutes. Add the butter, thyme, rosemary, garlic and baste the Ribeye Steak.
Remove and allow to rest for 5 – 8 minutes.

Cut, Serve, and Enjoy!

Note: Personally, I prefer my steak medium to medium well. In total the Ribeye Steak was cooked for 6 minutes.
