Servant Season 2 ending explained. Deep dive look at the finale s02e10 “Josephine” and what the ending means for the Turners and season 3. Please Subscribe - http://bit.ly/PetePeppers

Servant (Apple TV+) season 2 started to answer some of the big questions that were there after the first season’s finale. Dorothy (Lauren Ambrose) and Sean Turner (Toby Kebbell) are committed to getting their son back after his nanny Leanne Grayson (Nell Tiger Free) abducted him. They spend the first few episodes investigating until they discover Leanne’s location. They then keep her in their attic, trying to force her to give up “Jericho’s” location.

By season 2 episode 10 the Turner’s are no longer sympathetic characters. Dorothy has confined, tortured, and even buried Leanne alive. Sean and her brother Julian (Rupert Grint) know Dorothy is not well, but they are unwilling to tell her the truth about what happened to her real son.

In the season 2 finale Aunt Josephine demands an audience with Leanne and consoles Dorothy to face the truth, making her think Jericho is not going to come back. Josephine shows Leanne the Betamax tape which depicts the ritual of purifying members of the cult who have lost their way or left. The process involves an invocation, a consecration, and an emancipation which leads to death.

She also seems to have powers locking Sean in the bedroom to keep him out of her way while Dorothy loses her hope for Jericho and contemplates suicide. Josephine fairly warns Leanne and makes her pray to God for forgiving her sins. Also, she instructs her to promise God that she’ll forget Dorothy Turner which Leanne won’t do. Convinced that Leanne won’t repent, Josephine continues with the ritual. Josephine finds Leanne in the basement and attempts to kill her but Dorothy saves her at the last minute hitting her attacker with a shovel. A mother’s love is what Leanne wanted most, so she tells Dorothy that she’ll bring Jericho back.

Before she can do that she has to finish off Aunt Josephine. She kills her, burns the body, then puts the charred body in between the walls of the house. Then somehow she returns the baby to the Turners. After they take him, Leanne says they can create a family together, and acknowledges that there will be a war with the Church of Lesser Saints.

This Servant season 2 ending explained video explains what the end means for the characters, and for the rest of the series. It explains the answers to these questions:

Whose body is in the wall at the end of the Servant season 2 finale?
Does Leanne have supernatural powers?
Does Dorothy know what happened to her real son?
Is Uncle George dead?
Will Julian and Leanne have a baby together?

Servant has already been renewed for season 3, and is in production. The creator M. Night Shyamalan has said that they are planning on making four seasons total.
