Some speculations have surfaced recently about the 5.7L V-8 engine due to the leaked photo of the 2022 Toyota Tundra interior, which shows 5800 RPM redline. Automotive Engineer and Toyota veteran David Koichi Chao explains why some people are confused about the redline numbers - and people's assumption that the V-8 engine is being carried over to 2022 is wrong.

David goes onto to confirm that the 3.5L twin turbo V-6 is the base engine and the same engine mated to a hybrid system is the upgraded engine for the 2022 Tundra.
