Prince William, 38, and Kate Middleton, 39, who are enjoying a tour of Scotland this week, chatted with Emma Stone and Emma Thompson ahead of a drive-in screening of the film for NHS staff on Wednesday.

'Nice to see you, darling,' Thompson, 62, told Prince William as they started the call, with the actress having known the royal since he was young, thanks to her friendship with his father Prince Charles. The fun-filled call saw Stone, 32, mention shooting a scene outside Buckingham Palace, recalling: 'I was riding a motorcycle around the Mall.' 'We should have had you stopped, Emma, it's very dangerous,' replied Prince William, jokingly.
