Very excited to share my next expedition: The Impossible Row.

I’ll be going back to Antarctica, but this time in a completely different way. I’ll be rowing a boat across Drake Passage, some of the most treacherous waters in the world; 30-40 foot swells, icebergs, etc. The Drake is the body of water between the southernmost point in South America and Antarctica.

I’ve always been deeply curious to explore the ocean. But here’s the thing: up until I started training just a few months ago, I’d never rowed a boat before. But I’ve been strengthening the most important muscle for years; my mind. Mindset is the key for any of us to fully unlock our potential and make the impossible possible.

Myself and a team of five other amazing athletes from all around the world will row the boat, which has no motor and no sails. If successful, it will be the first ever crossing of Drake Passage to be completely human powered. A world first!

It all begins in two weeks and will take place the entire month of December. Thanks to a partnership with Discovery, they’ve invested in the live storytelling of the expedition, so you’re going to be able to see realtime content every single day. I’ll be sharing firsthand videos and photos like you’ve never seen before from the Drake. Highs and lows and everything in between, you’ll be right there with me. At the end, Discovery is producing a full length documentary about the expedition.

I hope you’ll come along for the ride. I’m so excited, but this is sure to be one of the most intense experiences of my life.
