We spent the day cutting and clearing pine with Josh's new Echo Timberwolf CS 590. This chainsaw is a beast! Josh put in several hours of cutting that day with absolutely no problems with that Timber wolf. He loves it! His only complaint so far has been that it is heavier than his old chainsaw, but that's to be expected. The last one was much smaller and a cheap Poulan. It doesn't even compare. I will say this, I love the sound of the engine! The old Poulan was deafening. The Echo is so much quieter with a low growl to it. The sound doesn't bother my ears at all if I don't have ear protection on. It is also pretty easy to start up. Josh is using expensive premixed fuel from the hardware store though. We don't want to accidentally get ethanol in there.

We got a LOT cut and stacked on the other side of the drive. We are preparing to widen the drive on the right side. It was a huge mess from the electric company pushing the trees down.
