Well as the water is sheer, and there is lots of seals about, I thought netting would be a waste of time, so I decided to fit the stripper boxes, rollers and jigging machines to the boat. Its a bit early for mackerel close to the beach, but it was a cracking morning at sea, so would be a shame to miss it. Well I only had a few mackerel, but its cracking to see them coming up on the feathers, its one of my most enjoyable methods of fishing.
