This "Old Town" is very popular. No one seems to mind that it's well worn, and most see this town as vintage. Here's a little sample of what is special about this town, to me, it's mostly the food, especially the Mexican food. Highlighted here is the center of the town restaurant Cafe Coyote, with various rooms for seating, fresh handmade tortillas and a solid bar.

Another unique spot is Hacienda Hotel, which is make up of many buildings that were originally a business center/mall. It can be 'maze like' but you can get situated pretty quickly. Lots of stairs on the property (some elevators available) and one set of the stairs leads right to the heart of the town.

Adjacent to this town is a little display of vintage homes that was enjoyable to walk through. Most of them are identified in the video.

If you are not staying in Old Town, it may be advantageous to use the metro or the trolley. There is parking in town, but it is limited. Walk around the few streets and see the old structures and their history. But when you are there, take in the flavor of this Mexican town-- the shops, the music and of course, the meals!
