Sam Roi Yot is a scenic wide and long beach lined up with with resorts and restaurants. I have been here many times and never witnessed excessive tourist crowds. It is a quiet beach with beautiful scenery, crystal clear waters and sheltered by the lines of pine trees. The straight road dividing hotel and resort accommodations with the beach is lined up with restaurants and shops selling dried seafood and souvenirs at affordable prices. The resorts are low-priced, starting at the hundreds while local villagers engage in fishing and accommodation services for tourists. I stayed at Dolphin Bay Resort which is a quite nice place as seen in the video.
