In 1989, noted historian and author, Jack A. Burgess, interviewed Bob Lunoe. Bob worked as a brakeman on the Yosemite Valley Railroad in California back in 1942. This program has excerpts of that interview combined with vintage photos and film clips from Jack's personal collection.

Bob is quite the story teller, recounting events from his time on the railroad with the kind of colorful characters you might expect to hear about, such as Old Man Gibbons, Mr. White, and Jakie Williams. By the time the program is over, you will have a good idea of what it was like to work on the Y.V. "back in the day."
