Learn how to configure Custom Dimensions in Google Analytics 4 with Google Tag Manager. There are some differences compared to the previous version, called Universal Analytics.

IMPORTANT: If you see some differences between your GA interface and what I show in the video, there is a chance that Google updated something. Take a look at this blog post https://www.analyticsmania.com/post/a... (maybe it will cover those recent changes. It’s much easier to update a blog post than a video).

When you send custom parameters to Google Analytics 4 and you want to see them in the interface of GA, you have to register them as custom dimensions.

Also, keep in mind that there are some limits related to Google Analytics 4 custom parameters. All of that (and more) are covered in this GA4 tutorial.
