The recent storms in Southern California even affected the desert. This short video shows the washout of Indian Canyon Road north of Palm Springs. Indian Canyon Road is a major connector between Palm Springs and I-10. It was also going to serve as part of all routes for the Tour de Palm Springs, a huge bicycle event scheduled for February 10, 2024 (over 7k riders).

The video content was captured on February 7, 2024 with a DJI Air 3. Care had to be taken as the approved ceiling for the "mission" was a max of 100 ft and some of the electrical infrastructure serving an epic windfarm nearby was about 90 ft high.
