The only thing worse for me than having to deal with the heavy RNG in this, is if I had to reset the entire raid from the beginning to get a pike every attempt. So this one was a hard choice for which approach to go with. There's no RNG if you use the alternative method with a Pike, but I thought the setup alone with that would be an absolute annoyance. So I went with what I felt would be the lesser of two evils, and settled on the 1 in 24 RNG here. Whether that was the right choice in the end I'm not so sure, but either way, here's another clear of this encounter again. The Skimmer is also the exact same as the Sparrow, but instead of Sparrow flying to the spot, you can just mindlessly Skimmer grind to the spot. It helps make the boring beginning a little less annoying I guess.

As a brief explanation of what happens here.

First, you need to setup the Skimmer (or Sparrow) so you can get out of the map. This is essential to allow you to pick up the Scanner buff, and reduce the odds from 1 in 720 (having to guess all 6 fuses), to 1 in 24 (so you only have to guess 4 fuses). To do so, you need to get out of the map so you can reach the joining allies spot, which removes the Scanner buff and allows you to pick up the Operator buff again. The downside to the Skimmer or Sparrow vs using a Pike, is after you joining allies, you can no longer use a Skimmer or Sparrow again again. This is why a Pike removes the RNG, as you can use the Pike every phase to get out of the map, and get the Scanner buff for every run.

Those things aside, next is how to hit the panels without triggering the fire. A shotgun from far range can deal damage that would trigger them, but not enough that it causes the wipe on a wrong hit. So you can use those to get nearly all of them, except for dark 1 and 2, which you use a grenade on 1, and leave 2 for last (if need be).

After that, you want to get the Scanner buff (for the first phase only). You can do so by getting the Scanner low, and using the Salvation's Grip crystals to defeat the Scanner through the map. Keep an eye out for where the damage numbers appear, and that's where you'll be able to pick up Scanner.

Finally, you have to be able to shoot through the floor to hit the fuses. To do so, you either use Chaos Reach, or use the specific positions of the Salvation's Grip crystals which will put you close enough to the floor, allowing you to shoot through the floor.

All in all, this isn't a fun solo in the slightest. It's either slog through RNG with a shorter 2 minute setup, or go through the entire beginning of the raid to get a Pike, and launch it around to set that up. Both of which are just annoying to do. I also almost threw this run, as I forgot to use a special finisher during phase 3. Luckily I was able to get the super just in time for the final phase, but if I remembered the special finisher it would've been much easier.

Credit to Neon and Silken who I believe were the founders or all of these strategies. The setup I used here was a mix of the older sparrow only version, and the newer line-ups from the pike videos. Their channels can be found here:
