February is when my sister was born & amethyst is her birthstone, so I'm using beads from last year's February Bargain Bead Box and an undrilled amethyst drop pendant to make her a jewelry set. I'll be wire-wrapping the pendant using 21 gauge square wire and 21 gauge half-round wire. I'll be using 18 gauge round wire to make beaded links with simple loops for the necklace and bracelet, and 18 gauge square wire for the adjustable ring.

You'll get a small glimpse at how I consolidated my leftovers from 3 different bead boxes into one cohesive box I can pull from in my bead stash, and we're experimenting with this ring design. I think I can actually do it better on a 2nd try, so I'll be doing it over again before I send these to my sister. I already sent her pictures and she loves them so much! By using silver-plated copper wire for ALL the components, I've made her a jewelry set she can wear without worrying about her metal allergies.

This is part of my personal challenge for the month of February: to make a full set of jewelry from each bead box or bundle I get or work from this month. This one is special because it's not a new bead box, but exceptions can always be made for our loved ones.
