5 Minute Evening Releasing Meditation
(End of Work day meditation)
Try this 5-minute evening releasing meditation to help you let go of the stresses of the day and free yourself from unnecessary entanglements so that you can be your people or do your own thing with no impediments.
As humans we are creatures of habit. If we want anything to become a habit we need to practice it daily. It is said to take 3 weeks to build a habit. I prefer to ask you to challenge yourself for 30 days. 30 days of practising a meditation routine. Then see the difference in your life.
Having a meditation routine will bring about a more positive outlook. It will change your mindset and boost productivity. Also increasing your overall wellbeing. It will do so by shifting your perspective.
Meditation is a great way to connect with ourselves and expand our minds. Simply sitting in silence for a minimum of 5 minutes will over time bring a sense of calmness to your life. It will also enable you to handle stressors more easily as you have set an example of stillness in your body. Slowly over time build up the time of silent meditation. Sit quietly and let your thoughts pass through your mind. Don’t hold onto any thoughts that enter your mind. It is also okay to laugh at the thoughts that come through.
Some days even for myself the most random thoughts wander through my mind as I sit in silent meditation. This does not mean you are failing at meditation. Just don’t hold onto any thought that enters, release it and see it go by. Concentrate on your breathing. It is very helpful for beginners to count their breaths, count up to five and begin again.
If sitting in silence is not your cup of tea. Or if you find it too intimidating try this 5 minute evening meditation. There are meditations of different lengths on this channel so you can determine how long you meditate for by the guided meditation you choose.
