The speakers from arbitral institutions (Paul Di Pietro, Counsel at ICC International Court of Arbitration and Ana Lombardía, International Case Director for the ICDR Division of the AAA) and two independent arbitrators, Michael Lampert, FCIArb and Steven Skulnik, FCIArb, discussed, among other things, pre-tribunal emergency relief in international commercial arbitration, seeking emergent relief in the arbitration as compared and contrasted with seeking it in court, expedited formation of the tribunal, and comparative analysis of institutional rules on emergency relief and expedited procedures.
