We had a bit of fair weather for a couple of days so I took the time to get a start on the fuel system for our 96’ Chevrolet GMT400 OBS LS Swap project. Normally within years 96-98, you can get away with using the stock fuel pump to feed a stock LS motor but after noticing the condition of my fuel lines and everything else underneath, I decided that it would probably be best to just start from the beginning and replace everything. Luckily I didn’t have to replace my entire fuel tank but everything else is is brand new.
The fuel line kit I ordered from scamazon and the other miscellaneous fittings came from scummit. If your OBS is between 88-95 or of you have a square body c10 and you’re doing an LS swap, then you will likely have to replace your fuel pump and lines as well.
