Lordstown Motors is one of a number of electric vehicle startups promising to bring a brand-new electric pickup truck to market in the near future.

It is also one of a number of companies in the automotive and clean energy sector executing what's known as a reverse merger in order to get access to the stock market.

But except for a few extremely short videos on its YouTube channel, an extremely bizarre launch event earlier this year -- and a trip to the White House last week, we've seen very little of the Lordstown Endurance.

What's more, we've not seen any news outlets -- large or small - get close to the vehicle. And that means we've got some questions that we feel need to be answered.

We want every new electric startup to succeed, but in order for that to happen, there are certain things that we -- and the industry as a whole -- expect to see.

Here are our concerns - and how we hope Lordstown proves us wrong.
