To date, Honda's only electric vehicles in the U.S. have been lease-only models (like the EV-Plus of the early 00's and Honda Fit EV of 2012-2014 - and the limited-market, limited-range Honda Clarity EV.

And while there are plenty of fans who would be more than happy to welcome the now-discontinued Honda-e to U.S. Cities from its home market of Japan and export market of Europe, Honda's EV plans for North America are a little different to Europe. Instead of the e-NY:1 (which replaced the Honda-e in Europe and has been quite heavily criticized for its uninspiring drive), Honda is just about to launch the Prologue EV - a mid-size family-friendly SUV that's built on the same General Motors Ultium Platform as the Chevrolet Blazer EV and Cadillac Lyriq.

Today, we get to put it through its paces during Honda's initial press drive event - and we're taking you along for the ride!
