1. ASTM - (American Society For Testing Materials) For your convenience, you may refer to the standards they wrote to minimize the details on your working drawings (i.e. fire-rated partition details).

2. ASTM E119 - A specific designation the pertains to fire ratings (hourly) of walls, floors, ceilings, beam enclosures, columns, etc.

3. NFPA - (National Fire Protection Association) A publisher of standards to eliminate the harmful effects of fire and electricity.

4. NFPA 252 & NFPA 257 - Fire ratings (hourly) of doors & glazing
