A first look at the 2022 Volkswagen Taigo! A Crossover Utility Vehicle (CUV) that fits between the VW TCross and the VW TRoc

Welcome to Damn Fast!💙 Today we have the allnew 2022 VW Taigo on our channel, well we say "new" but is it already a popular crossover in Latin America, there its sold as a Volkswagen Nivus! Still this is a new model for the European market and we can understand why VW did it. This Volkswagen Crossover is slightly lower and longer than the T-Roc, which gives this car more of a coupe roofline. The interior space and design can be compared to the 2022 Volkswagen Polo. This particular car has the upgraded R-Line exterior package with the sporty bumpers and nice 18 inch alloys which really suit this car well. The Taigo has a sporty and tough design whilst still providing decent interior space, we even think the back of the Taigo has a thing or two in common with the Audi Q8!😜
So this Taigo is not an electric vehicle, it can only be equipped with Volkswagens TSI engines in combination with a manual 6-speed or a 7-speed DSG transmission. The Taigo is powered by a 1.0 TSI, delivering 110HP/81kW or a 1.5 TSI with 150HP/110kW. We are very curious if the Taigo will be as popular in Europe as in Latin America... it sure does have the looks for it!
