This is something that you can do now for more stock video sales. I was looking for stock video footage on Envato Elements and I realized that there are over 750,000 clips from Blackbox contributors. Out of all of those clips, very few of them feature people - or as I call them: models with releases.

I don't have a lot of this footage, yet still 20-30 percent of my total sales are of me and my wife or other family members doing things. There is a huge part of the market that you are missing out on if you are not doing model shoots.

Additionally, Blackbox (for those of you who are members) has made it very quick and easy for models to sign up. They don't have to create or submit a reel or anything. They can just sign up as a model and start earning a percentage of your sales.

Also, be sure you tap into a genre that you have access to. For me, its retirement, senior couple, senior lifestyle, etc. For you it will be whoever (even yourself) that you have access to. Start with yourself if you have to. But do it and you will see results. Make sure every concept is simple and clear. Shoot 10-20 second segments of simple action.
