GORGEOUS OXFORDSHIRE: A picturesque Cotswolds village & beautiful Oxford// Welcome to Oxfordshire, the charming county in England that boasts not only stunning Cotswolds villages but also the captivating city of Oxford. We stayed at the Old Swan in Minster Lovell which is a quaint and charming inn from the 15th century. Minster Lovell is the perfect Cotswolds village too so we take you on a morning walk to share some of its stunning scenery. You also find Minster Lovell Hall there, nowadays ruins from a 15th century English Manor House. But the enchantment doesn't end there. Oxford, renowned for its prestigious colleges, is an absolute gem waiting to be explored. The city's majestic architecture showcases a seamless fusion of medieval charm and academic grandeur. Admire the impressive spires of iconic college buildings and soak in the intellectual atmosphere that engulfs the streets. We visit Bodleian Library with its Divinity School and Duke Humfrey's Library, something you wouldn't want to miss when visiting Oxford. It doesn't end here: We go up the tower of St. Mary's Church where you can enjoy the most magnificent view of Oxford. Last but not least a tour of Christ Church College is a must not only because it's one of the largest colleges but because it's a famous filming location (yes, Harry Potter). Oxfordshire is so beautiful as Cotswolds villages and Oxford seem to merge seamlessly. Enjoy! Kirsten & Joerg
