The objective of this investigation was to warn our viewers about crooked furnace repairmen looking to make a fast buck. We worked with a veteran HVAC contractor who now teaches his trade at a local college. We set up a hidden camera sting at the home of a widowed senior citizen. What we witnessed was troubling. Some of these guys tried to sell the trusting senior parts and services she didn't need. It showed our viewers, when it comes to hiring contractors, you have to be on guard.
