My Stihl rep brought by Stihl's newest Zero Turn mower, the Stihl RZA 700 Electric Battery powered Mower. It's a commercial zero turn mower which can reportedly deliver 8 hours of mowing time on a single charge!

This mower comes as the RZA 748, RZA 752 or RZA 760 with a 48, 52 or 60 inch deck and has a ton of pretty cool features. The question, though, is who would buy this thing? Let's figure it out!

With fewer moving parts, professional landscapers can save on time and money with the STIHL RZA 748 zero-turn battery mower. This mower has a 48” fabricated mowing deck and charges on 110-volt or 220-volt circuits with the included charger. A fully charged battery provides users with a full workday—up to eight hours—of run time, allowing them to mow up to 21 acres. With speeds up to 16 mph, users spend less time mowing and traveling in between jobs. The STIHL RZA 748 is a durable machine powered by a built-in lithium-iron phosphate battery with 24 kWh of power, meaning fewer moving engine parts and less maintenance compared to its gas counterparts. A high-visibility touch screen display shows mower data, such as driving and blade speed, along with remaining battery power.
