--An excerpt from "Skillful means at the End of Life", with Lama John Ross

This dharma talk offers explanations about the importance of accumulating merit and understanding “skillful means”. It also includes descriptions of the stages of dissolution excerpted from teachings by HH Dudjom Rinpoche Jigdrel Yeshe Dorje. As well, his useful list “A Checklist for Travelers”, a detailed set of instructions relating many practical and spiritual aspects of the journey, is included.

Lama John Ross is an American Buddhist teacher who has trained in various Vajrayana methods, including those that can be practiced at the end of life. He has been authorized by Buddhist masters to teach since 2005 when he completed extensive retreat. He teaches, leads students in practice and study, and is an accomplished translator. His knowledge and proficiency in explaining how to navigate the end of life are highly recommended.
