Remember when Black Adam was released and we got to see Henry Cavill play Superman in the mid credits scene, promising us a sequel where Superman fights Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam. I’m sure there’s an alternate universe out there where Black Adam was a critical and financial success and they’re working on a sequel where Henry Cavill is still Superman. Too bad we DC fans don’t live in that universe. With James Gunn officially rebooting the DC Cinematic Universe, this means that mid credits scene was for nothing, and that’s the last time you’re ever going to see Henry Cavill as Superman. Cue the Shrek meme. I actually wanted to do the Black Adam mid credit scene first. But it made sense to do Justice League first.
