The 2024 Model 3 long-range Highland does a great job as a road tripper. Over a distance of 575 KM in a day, mostly on the highway, I realized an average consumption of 15.8 kWh per 100 KM. The long-range version is the one to choose for those of you who often travel longer distances.
Charging a Tesla is generally a smooth undertaking. The Model 3 is no exception but the charging speed 10-80% was a bit disappointing.

On the car’s performance in general: The seats are comfortable – it is no problem to drive for nearly three hours without a break, and the noise level at 120 km/h is very low.

On the complaints side I noticed again that the Full Self Driving software and the cruise control has its flaws.

The mobility insider’s conclusion: Travelling long distances in an all-electric car is very much possible, but you do have to do a little bit of pre-planning and rely on the car's navigation system to do the trip planning and pre-conditioning.

The Model 3 in this latest 2024 long range version is excellent but not perfect. But it drives really well, it has plenty of horsepower and the efficiency of the motors and the battery is class leading.
