Tony Stewart Racing Team Owner Tony Stewart is a longtime Friend of the Freaks. Stewart is a four-time NASCAR Cup Series champion, winning two as a driver (2002, 2005), one as owner/driver (2011), and one as an owner (2014). Last year he won an NHRA title as the owner of Matt Hagan’s Funny Car. Now Stewart has stepped into the Top Fuel dragster nearly driven to a World Championship last year by his wife Leah Pruett. It’s a huge step for Stewart. The Top Fuel car is nearly twice the speed of his NASCAR Cup car. He talked with Kenny Sargent about the steep learning curve he’s going through this season.
