We recently had a project here at Forerunner 3D Printing that required us to figure out what the strongest joint type would be for a 3D Printed SLA part using adhesive. Normally we just use UV curable adhesive to light weld SLA parts together, but we figured we would also test our old standby Loctite HY 4070 as well.

But, along with the strength difference between them there is another tradeoff that needs to be considered. The UVIBOND sands very nicely so if you need to paint the part after gluing this is probably the better option. 4070 does not sand as easily or blend into the base part material as well.
