"In Color" was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Country song in 2009, and won the Country Music Association Award for Song of the Year (2009), and the Academy of Country Music Award for Song of the Year in 2008. "In Color" was written by Jamey Johnson, with Lee Thomas Miller and James Otto, the concept of which stemmed from a discussion between the three men about memories of their grandfathers.
