KAIST Raptor robot is a bipedal robot that was designed and conceived in 2014 by the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). KAIST Raptor robot has a top speed of 28.58 miles per hour, making it the second-fastest robot after the Cheetah, and the fastest bipedal robot worldwide.KAIST Raptor robot Designers at the KAIST took their inspiration from the Velociraptor, a bipedal dinosaur which balances itself with its tail. KAIST Raptor robot moves with a pair of carbon/epoxy composite blade legs.

The Outrunner is the world's fastest robot on legs, and it needs you. OutRunner is a six-legged design built by Florida-based Robotics Unlimited. The Outrunner can reach speeds up to 45 miles per hour on a treadmill and 25 miles per hour outdoors. The Outrunner beats previous records, by a lot: the legged robotics experts at Boston Dynamics have only gotten 16 miles an hour outdoors and 28.3 miles an hour on a treadmill.

The Cheetah robot developed by Boston Dynamics breaks the speed record. The Cheetah Robot has set a new world speed record for legged robots, running faster than the fastest human. The Cheetah Robot funded by the Pentagon, reached 28.3mph (45.5km/h) when tested on a treadmill.
