The world-famous Rubik's Cube is a puzzle that has captured the attention of millions of curious minds for decades. A symbol for problem solving, intelligence and perseverance, the iconic toy is now celebrating its 50th anniversary.

While new generations are taking on the challenge of the cube, past generations are also rediscovering it — with a twist.

"[This] is a pinch-me moment for all of us," said Anton Rabie, the co-chairman and co-founder of Spin Master, the children’s entertainment company that owns the Rubik’s Cube. "But what has changed is the speed that they can do it because of the technology and the magnets and speedcubers."
