This week I'm starting a new round of pottery experimentation! If you recall the bowls I made with bronze filings recently, this is the continuation of that, or at least, the first small steps. I'm using a new, coarse red stoneware clay body in conjunction with a new crimson glaze, to hopefully create a more subtle effect. For this test I'll be throwing and trimming five simple angular vase forms. Sorry for the tease... I'll make a video with the results soon!
