Testing XC60 t8 Off Road mode and esc working on hard packed 25cm deep snow. First testing how esc is braking slipping tyre, quite long delay. On summer time easily smoke tyres to slicks... Also notice that when front is slipping, it reduce power almost zero, while still press gas pedal at same level. Hard to press gas just "right". You can also see how front and back are not quite sync when there is much resistance to wheels, first might rear slipping, then it stops and front start to slip, and then power is cut totally. If press to "esc sport mode" on, there is none braking slipping tire at all, so even worse situation. Air suspension is high automatically on off road mode. Esc work much worse than my previous car, -12 X3, but higher ground clearance helps Volvo.
