The book mentioned in the video is Peter Han's 'Dynamic Bible' from SuperAni. If you love how-to-draw books, it's one of the best.

Note: my color flatting/color expand action works quite well for simple line art, and even some mildly complex line art, but gaps must be closed for good results.
