Dayton is about a week and a half out. Going to pick a couple and pack them up and head to dayton soon. Not sure how many or which one's I am going to take, but I won't take very many for sure. Maybe 3 at most. However, in the mood I am feeling, I just may not take any at all. Most have the full 10-80 or 10-160 meter Ham bands while a few have been monobanded for just 10 meters only. I think all need about 100 watts drive to get them going. All but the modded Heathkit need a foot switch to key the amp. Ham amps don't normally come with auto keyers. The bigger ones are 220/110. IMHO once you go over a thousand watts out, you want to go 220 anyway. Pulling too many amps from a house 110 line is bad for your house and is also bad for your amp. Bad enough losing power on110 with the power supply, but what's a lot worse is losing filament voltage. That's treacherous on the tubes. I have both a dedicated 110 line and a dedicated 220 line in my radio room. Anyway, thanks for watching.
