In this video, I prep my basement stairwell for drywall. I make sure that all of the strapping is secured, add in some electrical boxes and get my wiring prepped for the electrical work that needs to be done. I also install mineral wool fire and sound insulation. I added this insulation in my third bedroom and was happy with the results so I am excited to see if it helps to reduce the sounds from the laundry room and my workshop in the basement.
