Thought long and hard about whether I should post this or not after my misfortune at Bathurst. But thought I may and well show and take some positivity out of what was a fantastic event and time I had until the engine decided it had enough. Engine let go in the Chase towards the end of the lap after the end of Conrod straight. You will hear the engine start making strange noises and eventually lock up at the last corner.

This was my best and last lap of the event, didn't get to complete it at full pace but was on for at least second improvement (2.31.8 predicted down conrod) from my best recorded time on Natsoft (2.32.7) only 2 laps earlier. Unfortunately never got to run my greens (Nankang CR-S) as was saving them for Friday but this was done on some very well used Zestino 07RS semi slicks. Sub 2.30 went beckoning.

As they say that's racing, will be back bigger and better later in the year. First time there and will definitely be back again!
